At Oesch Equestrian Center, our lesson program is built around safety, confidence, horsemanship, and a genuine love for horses. Our riding lessons are designed to help students develop strong foundational skills while building confidence both in and out of the saddle. Whether you are a beginner learning the basics for the first time or an experienced rider looking to improve technique and horsemanship, our program focuses on individualized instruction and positive encouragement. Our programs are designed that riders can learn at their own pace and share their experience in a friendly riding community.

Horse care is much more than just time in the saddle. Riders are encouraged to develop a deeper understanding of horse care, grooming, tacking, communication, and overall horsemanship. Our goal is to help students create meaningful partnerships with horses while learning responsibility, patience, and confidence along the way. 

Individual lessons are $50 each or 3 Lessons for $125

Clinics

Throughout the year, Oesch Equestrian will offer free or low-cost clinics to provide basic care and riding instruction. Clinics can cover such topics as:

• · Grooming
• · Basic Groundwork & Lunging
• · Ongoing care of horses (farrier needs, administering oral medicines, etc.)
• · Tacking up your horse
• · Choosing the correct saddle and bit
• · “Spooky” clinic (desensitizing your horse to their environment)
